A classic minibrot from the elephant valley, done in Mandelbulb3D

A quick tutorial for this kind of image:

To find minibrots in M3D there are several formulas that you can use, the easiest one is Integer Power. This is the default formula when you run the program. Just go in the formual tab and instead of 8 in the integer power field, enter 2.
Then go in the "Cutting" tab and check the Z box. You should get this:

Then use the 3D navigator to find a minibrot as usual in the Mandelbrot set. Of course you might want to increase the number of iterations if you zoom deep. And if you want the fish-eye effect, set the FOVy value to 105 for example. There you go:
