Made with Mandelbulb3D, experimenting around Julia sets with formula combinations involving _RotatedAbs, _Folding2, _SquareR and _addC

_SquareR because it adds non-linearity like the zē+c in the Mandelbrot set.
_addC like in the zē+c
_Folding2 because foldings (a.k.a. symmetries) are a basic technique to produce Mandelbox-like shapes
_RotatedAbs to tweak the whole thing

Very impressive. I don't think I've seen this type of Mandelbulb design before. I think this is a pure, genuine, original piece you made. However, it's expected of you to make Mandelbulb submissions that have their very own unique traits and charms. Very excellent usage on building shapes, and sculpting them into a magnificent piece that does not even need to have colors to win fellow algorists over.

Speaking of colors, my only complaint is your usage of it. Blue and red work fine, but it is purple that does not fit here. Perhaps it is the tone of purple you used that did not add visual appeal to K-path. Maybe if it was a darker shade of purple, it would match with the other colors. I feel that you should have used dark blue as the replacement for the shade of purple you've used here.

Let me explain how you can use purple as a more potent factor in your works. The usages of purple varies. Purple goes well with black, red, white, and yellow. Although it really depends on what shade of purple you use. Light purple is good with green or white. Dark purple goes well with blue, black, or red. Almost every shade of purple goes with a variation of yellow. The most popular combination of purple and yellow is royal purple accompanied by gold. Be sure to test every tone of a color to see what works and what doesn't. :)

Overall, a very good piece. Slight misuse of colors, but it does not diminish the quality of your work by much. As I said before, the piece with its novel shapes are alone to impress a fellow mandelbulb artist. Excellent work on this. This is an entirely original piece that you have brought to life here. Well done! :)

For the record, I like the purple in this ! Just me I guess! I also like that you went out of your way to not only explain which formulas you used , but why! I could not do that! I just use the formula that gives me the effect I want! I don't dare try to explain why or how they work!

Thanks :) I do not always take the time to explain my process, it's true...

My my my... Now we're really done... That seems to be a fleet of alien ships emerging from another dimension... Seriously, we're done...

Apart from that - awesome, great work :) Keep it up :)
